Great design, just a little too wide and keeps sander away from the edges. Also the light isn't as bright as I thought it would be, but works well

Greatest product you never knew you needed. If you think this is a good idea, then just order it. I got 2 for my available sanders. Some woodworkers spend $50 on a Sander, some don’t. If you have Festool (or Mirka) sanders then you can take a flyer on this accessory. Also the customer service is 2nd to none. If there is ever a fit for my old ETS 125 EQ please let me know. Thank you for designing and making this. Clearly it was not for the $.

Very pleased with this light. Awesome product overall! It does its job by revealing the hidden scratches otherwise missed. Now for the -1 star from me. I assumed this would have an on/off switch as you must either unplug at power source or at the connector between cord and light. The Dutton logo on the light was doing some weird things to my eyes as I gazed down upon it while sanding and vibration. Might be the stark contrast of white on black and vibrations from the sander, or maybe I am just broken. A piece of black electrical tape took care of the issue. Love it!

Seen a few other hardwood floor crews post pictures of this light. We have been using a cheap head lamp around our Festool R/O 125, which worked well. But we needed a better halo effect to really see the glow around the tool and on the floors. In order to see our scratch pattern. This light works perfectly. I can get close to the trim, see everything around my work area, clean up my scratch pattern the way I want. It has improved our quality of work. Which is a win for me, and my clients. Price is very fair, and was at my door step before I knew it.
Will be buying other tools from Dutton, that I have no doubt.
