Dutton replaced the light portion free of charge because it cracked when the sander was dropped. This new version looks much sturdier. Hopefully no more breakage.

Great lights, really great for seeing the wood especially when you're sanding inside a cabinet. Provides great, strong light for seeing imperfections and especially for sanding inside cabinets.

Got the light for my festool ets ec 125/3. The light is nice and bright. I put the cord in the sock that the vacuum hose and power cord are in, and have the adapter plugged into the dust extractor power. I actually LIKE the fact that it isn't another battery powered light or it's yet another thing to charge. As i have the cord in with the vacuum hose and power cord, it's not in the way and it's easy to plug in.
It's a great solution, it really does help to see where you still need to sand and if there are any bad spots.
